Octavio Campos: The Sacred Art of Interruption: Disruption as Method

In immersive theater, disruption is not a mistake. It is the methodology. This segment begins with a guided provocation: “What happens when the expected collapses?” Participants are led through a series of short movement- and voice-based interruptions—physical phrases, whispered texts, gaze interventions—invited to break the frame of their own behavior and then each other’s. We explore disruption as intimacy. A way to awaken attention. A way to say: “I see you. Are you still here?”
